a meal after the service at Billy DeFrank on most Sundays. An exception
is the third Sunday of each month, where we have a "lunch bunch"
go out for a meal at a local restaurant.
We have special speakers, joint services with another church,
Church Service in the Park, and other events.

Celebration of Faith Mental Health First Aid ...
Celebration of Faith has a trained staff of mental health first aid personnel.
While we are not official counselors, we give advice
to people facing life's challenges. We help our clients come up
with a plan and refer them to specialists when appropriate.
We provide
counseling to couples or individuals
and are here to listen.
Do you know someone who could use visitation that is

hospitalized
-
in a nursing home
-
a shut-in at home
-
in a hospice?
What we do:
-
visit, read to, play games
-
pray with -- if requested
-
provide pet therapy, with two cute dogs to pet
We are conducting visits
to the elderly in nursing homes. We are donating clothes, toiletries, and packaged
food items to the
homeless in the streets. And we are looking to do more! Please join
us and bring your ideas on how
to help the community.

Potluck Luncheons...

On special occasions we celebrate our fellowship
with a potluck (Pot "Faith") luncheon.
We also have occasional picnics following the service.

All are welcome to the potlucks,
whether you bring a dish or not.
