For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever* believes in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that the world, through him, might be saved. (John 3:16-17)
...the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and
believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart
that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
(Romans 10:8b-11a, NIV)
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ
Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1-2, NIV)
Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he
that condemns? (Romans 8:33-34a, NIV)
* whosoever means anyone: male, female, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual, straight, not sure; white, black,
yellow, brown, green; old, young; good or bad -- in other words, you!
And that's good news: God loves you!
