 Our 9th Anniversary Celebration and Renewal Weekend

As the Pastor and a church leader, being involved in ministry since 1974, I've learned that every fall when the school season starts again, our souls long for "Rivers Of Refreshing." We desire for a fresh touch that only comes from personal intimacy with Jesus Christ. We all need this, before the full throttle of the holidays begins. If we don't take a moment to stop and receive a refreshing from God, we'll lack the enthusiasm that makes the Thanksgiving and Christmas season of JOY the season it was meant to be.

At Celebration of Faith, we offer a yearly time of Renewal and "Rivers Of Refreshing." The waters God provides to re-fill and replenish us. There is a JOY in serving Jesus! However without God's refreshing, we can too easily fall victim to weariness or emotionless activity.

That's why I want to invite you to come to this years 9th Year Anniversary Renewal Weekend, Sept 12-14th, 2003. I have invited Pastor Doug Clanton from Reconciling Pentecostal Assembly in Scottsdale, AZ, to be our featured speaker. Doug is a published songwriter and musician, and has traveled extensively throughout the country both in music groups such as "The Light Company" and in evangelistic work with "Apostolic Revival Ministries", which he founded in 1997.

The musical trio he sings with is also coming to present us with Anointed Worship, Renewal, Restoration and Rivers of Refreshing, immersed in God's Presence. The Renewal and Refreshing of God's presence in our lives is essential, and the only way that happens is through worship.

Please join us this September 12-14th at 7:30 PM for Rivers of Refreshing at 122 Race Street, in San Jose, CA. I encourage you to mark your calendars today for the refreshing your soul needs, as well as your spirit. Come to be Replenished, Refreshed and Restored!

Here's the schedule...

Friday night: The kickoff Praise Service. Get the weekend off to the good start with special music and inspiration from the Word of God. Pastor Doug Clanton will be sharing with us both in song and from the Word.

Saturday night: Our anniversary celebration. A full evening of food, fun, and fellowship, music and teaching. God has a time of refreshing for you! We start the evening at 6:00 PM with a fellowship meal. The dinner is free and everyone is invited. Our Celebration Service starts at 7:30 PM. Pastor Doug and his trio will be there, along with music from members of Celebration of Faith, and teaching from God's Word. It's going to be a great evening -- a time to meet new friends and old.

Sunday, 10:30 AM: Our Sunday Morning Service caps the weekend with more music, praise, and teaching. Pastor Doug Clanton will again be sharing with us from the Word of God.
